El Salvador

Where We Are

Costa del Bálsamo, El Salvador

Mi Sueño is in the Bahia Dorada community on the Costa del Bálsamo — a ruggedly beautiful stretch of El Salvador's Pacific coastline named for the ancient balsam trees that once carpeted the hillsides. Here, volcanic cliffs tumble into black-sand beaches, tropical forest hugs the shore, and the Pacific swells arrive clean and powerful from thousands of miles of open ocean.

We're approximately 90 minutes by car from San Salvador International Airport (SAL) and 75 minutes from San Salvador city, making us one of the most accessible beachfront escapes in Central America. The nearby town of El Zonte — home to the famous "Bitcoin Beach" community — is minutes away, with restaurants, surf schools, and local life to explore.
